Brazilian Soil Health Partenership Launch: Newsletter Soil Health News
The Brazilian Soil Health Partnership (BSHP) has just launched the first edition of Soil Health News, an initiative designed to bring science closer to agricultural practices and public policies. The newsletter aims to make knowledge about soil health more accessible and applicable, connecting researchers, farmers, technicians, and other stakeholders.
With the theme “Living Soil”, the inaugural edition presents research results from the Cerrado and Caatinga biomes, as well as an interview with researcher Dr. Ieda de Carvalho Mendes, who highlights the importance of soil bioanalysis (BioAS) as a practical management tool. The publication also features news about awards won by members of the network and information on national and international events related to soil health.
The newsletter reinforces BSHP’s core mission: to demonstrate that soil health is a vital link between biodiversity, agricultural productivity, and sustainability. By valuing both scientific discoveries and field experiences, Soil Health News seeks to inspire actions that promote regenerative agriculture and strengthen the resilience of ecosystems and rural communities.
