Marina Pedroso Carneiro
Graduated in Agricultural Engineering from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (Unesp) and Master in Agricultural Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), with a specialization in planning, management and soil conservation in sugarcane fields. In 2022, she worked at BPbunge Bioenergia, where she gained experience in managing crop treatments for sugarcane, with emphasis on the quality of field applications through the analysis of post-application maps and in herbicide planning. From 2022 to 2024, she collaborated with Embrapa Agricultura Digital, developing a project in partnership with Bayer S.A. to create a soil carbon prediction model under different managements. Currently, she is pursuing a PhD in Bioenergy with an emphasis on soil health at UNICAMP, working on the BRAVE (Brazilian Agave Development) project in partnership with Shell, UNICAMP and SENAI Cimatec, under the guidance of Prof. Gonçalo Pereira (Institute of Biology) and co-supervision of Prof. Maurício Cherubin.
