Daniel de Aquino Borba
Agronomist (2019) from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM); MSc (2022) and PhD (2026) in Agronomy (Soil Science and Plant Nutrition) from the “Luiz de Queiroz” College of Agriculture (ESALQ/USP).
He develops projects in the field of Soil Science, with an emphasis on Soil Management and Quality, carbon dynamics and stabilization, soil health, regenerative agriculture, and the restoration of degraded areas.
He is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Soil Science at the “Luiz de Queiroz” College of Agriculture (ESALQ/USP), a researcher with the Regenera Cerrado Project, and a member of the Soil Health & Management Research Group (SOHMA). His research focuses on soil health and carbon sequestration in agricultural production systems.
