XXXIX Brazilian Congress of Soil Science
SOHMA participated in the 39th Brazilian Congress of Soil Science, held from September 21st to 27th, 2025. The event was an important platform for disseminating knowledge and innovations in the field, promoting debates and the exchange of experiences among experts, professionals, and students.
During the event, posters were presented by both undergraduate and graduate members of the group, covering topics such as soil health, mangroves, cover crops, agrophotovoltaic plants, and others.
Furthermore, one of the undergraduate members, Luan Ferreira, with his work entitled "Coprolite vs. Soil: Effects on Carbon Stability and the Microbial Community," was chosen to present his results orally, a source of great pride for the group.
Finally, coordinating professor Maurício Roberto Cherubin delivered a lecture entitled "Soil Health: The Basis for More Productive and Climate Change-Resilient Agriculture."
