Agricultural Engineer (2017), Master (2018) and PhD (2022) in Agronomy - Soil Science from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ). Mr. Pinheiro worked as a substitute professor (2019-2021) in the Soil Department of UFRRJ, teaching Soil Physics, as well as Agricultural Suitability and Soil Management.
He develops projects in the area of Pedology (genesis, morphology and soil classification) with an emphasis on mechanisms of organic and inorganic carbon accumulation in Black Soils. He is also interested in researching soil management, especially the impact of land use changes on carbon dynamics in conservation systems.
He is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Soil Science of the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture (ESALQ/USP) and a member of the Soil Health & Management Research Group - SOHMA.
