Caio César Gomes Freitas
Agricultural Engineer (2018) from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco - Garanhuns Academic Unit (UFRPE/UAG); Master's (2020) and PhD (2025) in Agronomy (Soils and Plant Nutrition) from the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture (ESALQ/USP).
He develops projects in Soil Microbiology (soil microbiome, ecology, and rhizosphere), with an emphasis on root exudation processes and the ecological interactions that characterize the rhizosphere as the main interface from a plant-soil-microorganism perspective.
He is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Soil Science at the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture (ESALQ/USP) and a member of the Soil Health & Management Research Group (SOHMA).
